Assessment and starting care
All dental procedures have to begin with an assessment. Here at Wimbledon Dental Care it’s very important for us to direct our patients towards treatment that would be effective and appropriate for them, as pointing in the direction of treatment that would be less impactful and more discreet for these purposes alone is not the best idea to resolve complex cases.

If appropriate, the next stage is to take dental moulds, and the brackets and brace can be built around them. During the fitting, the individual brackets are attached to the front big six front teeth and connected with a minimalistic archwire.
As treatment continues and your teeth take the new positions, the brace will have to be adjusted. For most cases, this will be every 4 to 5 weeks, and gives us the opportunity to check the progress in treatment as well as the health of your teeth.
